Be The Architect Of Your Life

So you’ve made it through January, hey you! And now it is almost the end of 2017.

Sometimes we give ourselves way too little or no credit at all, I’ve seen posts where people say “do accept compliments” and yeah that’s what I do a lot these days because I have found in myself the ability to change my tomorrow, and be the best that I can be as I know there is more to be discovered for I am unlimited and so are you, give yourself a pat on the back for making it this far ☺smile because you are awesome!

Someone said “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire”.

So you’ve been trying to get that business off the ground for a few years now, you’ve been eyeing that car for months, you’ve been on that position at work for 5 maybe less years or you’ve been very unfit and putting your own health at risk and still you’ve never done anything to change it, or like most of us you have done something or thought of something to do but some voice in your head just said that it is futile to try to change what is and naturally you believed it, its ok, it is not the end of the world, we all have our weak moments: where the comfort zone seems much better than being out in the cold chasing our goals.

It’s about time you take back what is yours (you, and every good thing out there with your name on it). Revisit those goals and those dreams that you’ve written down or kept in your heart.

At some point in our lives we feel that we are not good enough, that we aren’t doing enough, we yearn for more than we have and it is an acceptable human instinct: to want and to keep wanting even after acquiring what we wanted at first. But “you should never be your own enemy” because once you start fighting yourself from the inside (for example practicing Negative self-talk or allowing your insecurities to get the better of you) it will show on the outside, not immediately but eventually, so when things go wrong, stop hiding behind “its destiny” instead ask yourself “who am I? What am I capable of? What do I really want?” and if you can answer these question then I know you will be able to defeat those monsters in your head that keep gunning for every good thing you want.

Work at improving yourself daily, it may take a while to eventually get yourself fired-up to pursue that ‘more’ that you’ve been yearning for but one little step in the right direction everyday, can change what happens next. I trust and believe that we are the “architects of our lives” that’s why we have will power and the ability to say “YES” to everything we want and “NO” to what we don’t like. Today decide to become and maybe tomorrow you will really be, just don’t approach your goals with the “what if I lose” mentality rather approach them with the “when I win” mentality. Believe again in yourself and keep shining because “A city on a hill cannot be hidden” so why not be the most beautiful city anyone has ever seen?
